Fred's hospitality stood out. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I loved the huge garden, perfect for relaxation. Breakfast featured an impressive selection of homemade jams, all crafted from local produce. The dinners presented a wonderful culinary experience, showcasing exquisite local cheeses. breakfast could have benefited from a few more options. The location near the motorway offered good access, but road noise was noticeable at times. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of character, although the bathroom arrangement was slightly inconvenient due to being on another level.

The historic farmhouse exudes charm, making you feel immersed in the local culture from the moment you arrive. I loved the delicious supper featuring a selection of exquisite local cheeses paired with wine from Fred's extensive cellar, which truly elevated the dining experience. Large, beautiful garden, unique French wines, charming rustic accommodations
Proximity to the road creates noticeable noise that interrupts tranquility!!! Limited parking options could make arrivals stressful for those with larger vehicles!!! The layout of the bathroom on another level is certainly awkward for families!!! Better signage would also help minimize confusion!!!

Proximity to the road made for some noticeable noise at times, which could detract from the supposed tranquility. Guests may also find the rustic accommodations lack some modern amenities, and there were intermittent wifi issues, which were frustrating for those needing to stay connected. some visitors expressed that while the breakfast was nice, a broader selection would improve the morning experience. The layout of the bathrooms was also an inconvenience, particularly for families, as some arrangements required navigating between levels, making it less than ideal while juggling resources.

Perfect stopover with comfy beds!
We booked last minute and the fam room was super clean and cozy. Fred was really friendly and even shared some cool champagne tips. The beds were like clouds! Only bummer was the bathroom setup being a bit awkward with it being on another level. Totally recommend grabbing a drink in the lounge area too!
