This hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, making for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location, just a 50-minute drive from Reims, allows guests to enjoy the beautiful nature surrounding the hotel. The rooms, although quirky in many ways, are clean and comfortable, providing everything you need for a night's stay. And the breakfast, served in the kitchen with our delightful host Frederic, was a charming experience.
No major issues to report, everything was alright.

Worth its 3 stars. It was a deluxe hotel, we loved it. Our window overlooked the garden. Only 5 min walk to downtown...

chez fred et cecile in verdilly was an absolute delight! fred was the perfect host, showing us around and even going to the bakery early for breakfast. the old farmhouse was beautifully restored, with charming details and impeccable cleanliness. the homemade marmalades and local cheeses were a treat.
Small bed size affected comfort.

Great food and top quality bed linen. The perfect mix of Parisian style and relaxed countryside. Warm, nourishing, and restful stay.
The location is right on the road, which can be noisy and busy. The strong "country" smell and abundance of flies were a bit unpleasant.

Our stay at this B&B was absolutely mind-blowing! The interior décor was jaw-dropping, with such imaginative and tasteful designs. The exterior renovation maintained the ancient charm and character beautifully. Our host was super friendly and attentive, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide array of choices, including delicious homemade jams and honey. The location was central, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. We also had the opportunity to visit a local champagne maker with our host, which was a truly unforgettable experience. we had a fantastic time and cannot wait to return for a longer stay in the future to further explore this beautiful area. The host, Fred, is truly an excellent host!

I had the most amazing stay at a charming French country home. The owners, Fred and Cecile, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. Fred even took me to a local grocery store and a champagne brewery, where we got to meet the owners and sample their delicious champagne. The house itself was beautifully maintained and my room was spacious and comfortable. The peaceful and serene surroundings made for a truly relaxing getaway. The food, made with fresh ingredients from local farms, was absolutely fantastic. From the warm hospitality to the stunning location, I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough. I had a wonderful experience at Chez Fred Et Cecile and would definitely stay here again if I ever return to France.

We enjoyed our stay in a rustic countryside residence with great hosts. The room was clean and decorated with a countryside feel, complete with all necessary amenities. The location was central to tour around the area, including Laon, Reims, and Verdun. the hosts provided a wealth of information on places to go and local food restaurants.
One of the aspects we disliked was the proximity to the road, as traffic noise disturbed our peace. the "country smell" and the presence of flies were not appealing.

If you're looking for an escape to the countryside, this charming B&B located near a picturesque golf course is just perfect. The well-maintained rustic farmhouse boasts spacious rooms with modern fixtures and plumbing, and an exclusive selection of champagne from the owner's cellar. In the morning, you'll be served a delicious French breakfast with homemade jams and honey, a true local delight. Plus, it's a great base to explore the nearby champagne houses, as recommended by the friendly and knowledgeable host.
Keep in mind that the B&B is not at a walking distance from restaurants or shopping, but with your own transport, it shouldn't be an issue.

Friendly owners, took us to grocery store and a local champagne brewery. Better than a 5-star hotel we stayed at in Paris. Spacious rooms, cool despite heat-wave. Charming French breakfast with homemade jams. Huge garden, old but well-maintained house. Fred can prepare delicious evening meals, don't miss the cheeses. Great wines in the cellar.

We had an amazing stay at this B&B. The hotel facilities were great, and the location next to a beautiful golf course was stunning. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with useful information about transportation and places to visit. Breakfast was delicious, with a vast choice of homemade jams and honey, fresh croissants and bread. Cleanliness was incredibly good in every corner of the hotel.
Nothing it was perfect.

The stay was a perfect country getaway. The host was extremely welcoming and spoke fluent English. The picnic-style dinner was amazing and the wines offered were a great choice at reasonable prices. The garden was well-maintained and beautiful. The rooms were a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. The local produce preservation was fathomable.
The location may pose a slight inconvenience as there were no immediate restaurants or shopping centers. One may have to plan on commuting for meals and other activities.
